Window Replacement & Glass Services in Reno, NV
Legacy Glass is based on Longley Lane in south Reno, and Reno homes are the bulk of what we do. From older brick and wood-frame houses near downtown to newer homes in the south and northwest, we replace windows and install custom glass in every part of the city.
Windows for Reno’s high-desert climate
At about 4,500 feet, Reno sees cold winter nights, hot dry summers and strong sun nearly year-round. That puts a lot of stress on window seals and frames, and it is why low-E glass matters here: the right coating helps hold heat in on January nights and keep afternoon sun out in July.
Much of Reno’s housing stock was built from the 1970s through the early 2000s, often with aluminum or early vinyl windows. Many of those are now drafty, foggy or hard to operate. For stucco homes, a retrofit installation lets us replace the window without disturbing the exterior finish.
Custom glass across the city
Beyond windows, we install frameless shower enclosures in bathroom remodels, glass railings in new custom homes, mirror walls in home gyms and studios, and glass partitions in offices and businesses throughout Reno.

What Reno customers say
“Exceptional service — and fast”
I recently had Legacy Glass replace all the windows in my 1990s home, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and professional. The sales rep was knowledgeable and helped me choose the perfect energy-efficient windows for my home and budget.
When the installation team arrived they quickly got to work removing the old windows and installing the new ones. It only took one day to install 20+ windows. The next day they finished all the trim work. The difference in my home is night and day — the new windows look fantastic and have significantly reduced outside noise and improved temperature control.
“Exceeded our expectations”
Legacy Glass did an amazing job with our new windows. The team was professional and the quality of work exceeded our expectations.
